Good Start

The basics are here, but it needs more than that, like the ability to set the startup view for mobile, from the device. The overall simplicity from the user perspective is a major aspect behind Zendesks success, so I see extending the basic usage features to mobile as expected. Mobile is the new web, so your mobile interface should be treated as a first class citizen, not just a cute bone to throw to your customers. I love Zendesk, so I would like to see the mobile app reflect all of the goodness that is Zendesk :-)

Great app

Very helpful to keep track of my support tickets

Perfectly adequate

Havent had bug issues. A bit hard to navigate but it would be hard to match the desktop site on a mobile phone.

Helpful, but...

As others have pointed out, the lack of a tabbed interface in the iPad version makes for a lot of back-and-forth switching. In addition, the app is missing the option to close and merge a ticket into another ticket. Our overnight messaging center forwards directly to Zendesk, which usually winds up in multiple tickets for the same issue/customer. having to use a browser to merge the tickets is annoying, and negates the practicality of the app. There is no sense or method to the notification panel or badge. You cant clear old notifications, so, when you actually get some notable fixation, your badge count shows ALL the notifications from day 1. So yes, basic app, and complete neglect of a customer base that pays through the nose for "premium" service...

Cant attach files, clunky interface

I cant attach PDFs or other files stored in iCloud or Dropbox. I end up having to email separately and closing the ticket with a comment. Too many taps to do basic ticket chores compared to the desktop interface. Ticket detail displays the requesters initial contact on top followed by the latest message. Why is this not the same as the desktop one?

Poor UI Design - Does Not Work

App does not work. No help to tell you what the "domain" screen means. I ended up with trial and error to get what they wanted (over 30 attempts). Then when entering THE SAME EMAIL AND PASSWORD from the site I just created, it would never recognize; I was using copy and paste so I know it was correct. Lame and non working UI. I just use the website of the actual manufacturer I was dealing with; avoid the app.

Could be a lot better

I really only use this app to check on how many tickets we have open and to close finished tickets. Answering emails, applying macros, and overall using the APP for its actual intended purpose is basically impossible. Needs a lot of work for.

Amazing on iPad

This is great on iPad and lets me handle several different accounts for Zendesk. Its a tiny bit clumsy but does bring the awesomeness of Zendesk to my iPad.

Solid and Stable Tool

First up, I was not expecting full desktop functionality; we simply needed critical tools to allow team members and end users to interact and to manipulate tickets from the field. The streamlined mobile tool set is exactly what we needed. No more. No less. The interface is intuitive enough that we were up and running in seconds, and, following wide distribution, have had no requests from EUs for app assistance. A solid and stable tool for mobile updates and ticket oversight that has increased our productivity, improved our service, and made the folks under our service umbrella feel even more connected.

Worst application on iPad Pro

On iPad Pro its so bloated, the comment window is so small so it makes it practically unusable. Also doesnt support new iPads native keyboard so keyboard takes more than a half of the application. Zendesk site doesnt work on iPad Pro at all, when entering comments. All of the above makes it practically impossible to use Zendesk on iPad Pro. Guys come on!

Great crm tool

Love it and highly customizable.

Easy to set up, works well.

It took me a few minutes to get up an account, then about 30 minutes to manually bridge our tickets over from a different system. Zendesk is doing what we need it to and it was super easy. Worth the $5/agent were paying for it!

Work better with desktop

I wish when I update on my computer it would show as read or seen in the app.

Whats the point

Gosh whats the point, this application constantly logs me out. I mean it works great once logged in but if I dont open it for a day I get logged out then having to fill in the domain email and password all over again. It gets frustrating
